An extremely rare lock of Marilyn Monroe's hair from her hairdresser Kenneth Battelle. Comprised of several strands the hair has been placed in a small 1 x 1.5 metal frame that is enclosed in glass. Accompanied by two small 1 x 1.5 images of Monroe that are translucent and attached to small pieces of glass that are enframed in metal, giving it the appearance of a "glass negative." Kenneth Battelle, a hairdresser to the stars, was most well-known for being the hairstylist for Jackie Kennedy (he created her famous "bouffant") and for Marilyn Monroe, amongst many others. His storied salon in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel is still in operation, although he has turned over the reins to Kevin Lee. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
