Apart from a one-night only solo concert performance in Philadelphia eight years earlier on July 9, 1943, Judy Garland had never before mounted a concert tour. Her acting career precluded her from making such a commitment during the decade of the 1940's when she starred in a string of more than twenty movies. On April 9, 1951, she finally took to the stage of the London Palladium for a five-week residency that ended on May 12. This fabulous rarity documenting that inaugural event has been dry-mounted. 19.5" x 29.5", EX. Estimate $300-$500.
