Maud Elizabeth Charlesworth later changed her name to Maud Ballington Booth, was a Salvation Army leader and co-founder of the Volunteers of America and was also the wife of Ballington Booth. Booth has handwritten & signed this letter dated to December 2nd, 1907. Good condition. This lot comes from the extensive personal collection of a life-long collector of Historical, Entertainment and Sports artifacts and memorabilia. The collector has amassed a virtually unmatched collection that is one of the largest we have ever seen. This lot comes with a letter from Gotta Have Rock and Roll.com stating that it was sold in the Gotta Have History Winter Auction, February 16-25, 2022.
