The Fillmore West and Winterland welcomed in 1970 with marathon 12-hour concerts at each venue featuring eight bands, including Santana, Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna. Bonnie McLean's striking art makes this a collector's favorite. David Singer's unmistakable design style graced the last poster in the Bill Graham series (BG287) that advertised the final five shows at the Fillmore West (June 30-July 4, 1971) that featured nearly twenty acts, including the Grateful Dead, Santana, CCR, Boz Scaggs and It's A Beautiful Day. Singer has signed the lower right border of his classic poster in blue paint pen. BG209 (20.75" x 27.75") is MT., and BG287 (22" x 227.75") exhibits a slight scuff along the right border, otherwise MT. Estimate $1,200-$1,500.
