28th President of the United States Woodrow Wilson signed this letter dated December 17, 1917 using a fountain-tip pen. Wilson write a letter of thanks to James Blaine for sending tickets to see Irish Tenor John McCormack at the Belasco Theatre in New York. Wilson served as President from 1913 to 1921, meaning this letter was signed while he was in office. As President Wilson changed the nation’s economic policies and led the United States into World War I. He was also one of the driving forces behind forming the League of Nations. Fair condition.
