Bob Dylan original Jack Robinson Chromogenic print (C-Type print), also featuring the Rolling Stones Brian Jones. Dylan is seen here, with his wife Sara, and Jones at a release party for the Young Rascals at the Phone booth nightclub in New York City, November, 1965, help by Sid Bernstein who brought the Beatles and the Rolling Stones to the U.S. The photograph was hand-printed from Jack Robinson’s original negative in 2000 at the Jack Robinson Archive and Gallery darkroom in Memphis, TN. A C-print, also known as a C-type print or Chromogenic print, is a photographic print made from a color negative or slide. The color negative or slide is exposed to Chromogenic photographic paper (wet process paper) that contains three emulsion layers, each of which is sensitized to a different primary color. After the image has been exposed it is submerged in a chemical bath, where each layer reacts to the chemicals to create a full-color image. Because the chemicals are so complex, the image continues to react even after the process is completed. Measures 12 x 18. Very good condition. The photograph is hand-stamped on the back and comes with an embossed and stamped first edition book on Jack Robinson published in 2011 by Palazzo Editions in England. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
