Steve McQueen's personally owned and worn Nudie's custom brown suede motorcycle jacket. McQueen gifted the jacket to Dennis Roberts, famed owner of the Optique Boutique on Hollywood's Sunset Strip. His first customer was Steve McQueen, and over the years he sold custom-made glasses to a variety of major stars including Elvis Presley, Sammy Davis, Jr., Elton John and Andy Williams. McQueen visiting the Optique Boutique on many occasions and became good friends with Roberts. McQueen gave the jacket to Roberts. McQueen is pictured here wearing a very similar jacket. Very good vintage condition. With the Nudie's Rodeo Tailor North Hollywood label, the jacket is accompanied by a letter of provenance from Dennis Roberts detailing his friendship and that McQueen gave him this jacket, as well as a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
