Elvis Presley owned and worn black patent leather boots, Spanish, size 12. Elvis gave these boots to his long time close friend Charlie Hodge. Hodge first met Elvis when he was with a group called the Foggy Mountain River Boys, and then again when Elvis was in the Army shipping off to Germany. Elvis and Charlie became very close, and Charlie lived at Graceland until Elvis' tragic passing in 1977. Charlie was Elvis' stage director, sang harmony with him on stage and handed Elvis his scarves. He also helped Elvis with the set list for his shows and appeared as an extra in many of his films. Since he lived at Graceland, Charlie sometimes took care of some of Elvis' wardrobe. Very good condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Charlie Hodge and a photo of Elvis wearing the same boots, or ones virtually identical. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
