This is a page from the Daniel Kramer book inscribed and signed by Bob Dylan in 1968. It is the last four lines of his masterpiece "Masters of War." The inscription varies significantly from the recorded version. Bob was always playing with words and probably wanted to make the inscription more personal for the inscribed. As a result these words constitute an original lyric and alternate ending to this iconic work. He has written "You masters of war, You destroy And you lie, You're not worth a headstone on your grave when you die, Bob Dylan." Handwritten in white pencil on a page measuring 8.5 x 11. The signature and inscription are fully legible and in very good condition. The page has wear including a tear at the right top (including a 1" hole), a small square tear at the left edge and tears at the left border, with repairs done on the verso. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
