A fantastic piece of Jackson 5 history, these are Tito Jackson's handwritten Jackson 5 "ABC" working lyrics. Tito wrote the lyrics in blue ballpoint pen on 8.5 x 11 lined notebook paper. These lyrics were given to a loved one by Tito, who had written them as part of a love letter to Dee Dee. These lyrics come from one of the biggest sales of Jackson memorabilia: "The Jacksons Auction" held by Guernsey's on May 30th and 31st, 2007. The belongings were originally requisitioned from a storage facility after the Jackson family failed to pay a bill for the space. Considered one of the Jackson 5's signature songs, "ABC" is known throughout the world. It hit number one in 1970 and knocked The Beatles' song "Let It Be" out of the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1970. Very good condition, it has been folded. Accompanied by a copy of the 2007 auction press release mentioning the lyrics and a letter from the buyer to the consignor. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
