A four page "Dissolution of Partnership" signed in ballpoint pen on the second page by Jimi Hendrix's manager Michael Jeffery and John Henry Henroid in ballpoint pen. Jeffery has signed in blue ink and Henroid in black ink. The document stipulates the terms by which the assets of their publishing company "Sea Lark Enterprises" would be distributed between the two. The controversial Jeffery was the former manager of The Animals, and is believed to have been the cause of their break-up. Jeffery would go on to manage Hendrix's career - and would again be accused of mismanagement, this time resulting in the expropriation of much of the income Hendrix received. Henroid, an unsung hero of the late 50's music scene in England, was the first to spot The Animals playing at The Cavern, getting them their first recording contract. Each page measures 8.5" x 11." In very good condition with extremely light stain on the first page and darker stains on the third and fourth pages. There is a some creasing at the bottom left corner of the first and second pages (which are back to back). Estimate $500-$700.
