J.D. Salinger Signed Book Store Receipt

A very rare signature from J.D. Salinger, one of the greatest American writers of the 20th Century. He has signed this Dartmouth Bookstore receipt "J. Salinger" in black ink. The store is located in Hanover, New Hampshire, about 30 minutes from where Salinger lived as a recluse for decades in Cornish. The receipt is dated "1/05/01" and the books her purchased are listed as "War To Be Won", "Warden", "Inspector General" and "Tiepolos Hounds." Salinger's name as well as then wife Colleen and their address is printed on the receipt. After a series of many relationships after his first marriage he married Colleen O'Neill, forty years his junior, in 1988. Salinger is listed as a book club member of the bookstore on the receipt. Measures 2.75 x 8. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
