Fillmore West "Santana Lion" Poster and Ticket With Lee Conklin Signed Santana Album

This is a second printing original poster for the Fillmore West shows on August 27-September 1, 1968 featuring Steppenwolf, the Grateful Dead and Santana, among others. Created by artist Lee Conklin, the design became known as the "Santana Lion" because the band became so enamored of it they asked Conklin to use it for the design for their fist album cover. Accompanying the poster is Santana album cover that Conklin has signed in silver ink (vinyl is included). Also comes with an original ticket for the evening that was a smaller version of the poster. The poster, in very good/excellent condition, measures approximately 14 x 21 and the ticket in very good/excellent condition measures 2.5 x 4.4.
