This is Elvis Presley's owned and worn 14 KP gold nugget ring. The ring is a size 10 and Elvis wore it on his pinkie finger with a lot of band-aids around it. The ring features four diamond-like clear stones and weight approximately 9.5 grams. It is stamped 14KP, which stands for "karat plumb" meaning the gold is exactly 14 karat gold, no more, no less. The ring also bears the maker's mark "HWJ". Elvis gifted this ring to his close friend and bodyguard Sam Thompson, who worked for him until his tragic death in August, 1977. Sam was Linda Thompson's brother, Linda dated Elvis from 1972 to 1977. In June of 1977, right before they left for Elvis' CBS TV Special, Elvis gifted the ring to Sam after Sam admired it. The ring was in Sam's possession until quite recently, and it may very well be the last piece of personal jewelry that Elvis ever gifted. Very good condition. Comes with a letter of provenance from Sam Thompson and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
