These are Bob Dylan's handwritten working lyrics to "My Back Page" and "Ballad in Plain D" that he has also signed in black ink. "My Back Pages" really needs no introduction. It was first recorded for his 1964 album, Another Side of Bob Dylan," it remains one of his most well-known and personal early works. Recorded by many other artists, it was the closing song performed by Bob at his 30th Anniversary Tribute concert with help from George Harrison, Tom Petty, Neil Young and Eric Clapton, each singing a verse. These working lyrics, with corrections, and containing all verses, is from the Kevin Krown Collection - Dylan's close friend and first manager - whose estate gave it to Bob's close friend Peter McKenzie upon Krown's death in 1992. As an added treasure, on the reverse side are the working lyrics in Bob's hand of the first 3 verses of Ballad in Plain D, which also appears on the same album. PLEASE NOTE: THE IMAGES FOR THIS LOT HAVE BEEN CORRECTED FROM THOSE APPEARING IN THE CATALOG.
