Grease Live! is an American television special that was originally broadcast by Fox on January 31, 2016. It was a live, televised remake of the 1978 film Grease, executive produced by Marc Platt, directed by
Thomas Kail, and starring Aaron Tveit, Julianne Hough, Carlos PenaVega and Vanessa Hudgens.
Accompanying this amazing guitar is a Chuck Barris signed toy replica "Greased Lightning" car signed by Chuck Barris. On April 21st, 2005, Olivia Newton John appeared in concert at Stage 1 in Corona, CA. This special performance produced by Plan B Events included a VIP fund-raising “Meet & Greet” on behalf of the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation. The producers had reached out to Barris Kustom Industries to see if they could send the famed Greased Lightning car from the original “Grease” movie as a special added attraction. They not only agreed to send the car, but they did one much better by having the actual King of Kustoms, the legendary George Barris himself, appear alongside the car. Even though Olivia Newton John was featured in the car along with her “Grease” co-star John Travolta in the famous ending scene as they took off together into the wild blue yonder, it turns out that she had never actually met Mr. Barris. The meeting was quickly arranged and as a thank you gift, Mr. Barris autographed a model replica of the car and presented it to Plan B Events. The car comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Plan B Events, and a photo of Olivia New John and George Barris in front of the actual car that evening.
Authentication: In addition to the Letter of Authenticity, and the photograph, for the signed replica Greased Lightning toy car, the gutiar comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
