Handsome studio portrait signed by a very young, swashbuckling Babe Ruth, vintage signed and inscribed with his rare, early career signature baring the desirable quotation marks around his early adopted boyish nickname “Babe,” The 7 X 9.25 black and white photograph is signed and inscribed, “To My friend A. T. Scriven From ‘Babe’ Ruth,” in black fountain pen. Nicknamed the "Sultan of Swat," Ruth hit 60 home runs in 1927, which long stood as the single season record up until Roger Maris hit 61 home runs. Ruth was the "greatest drawing card in the history of baseball," which holds true to this day. This is a splendid signed Babe Ruth photograph deserving befitting the finest collections.
