Bearing an embossed seal of authenticity on the bottom right hand corner “Original Gallery Art 1969 to 1976 Lennon -Ono,” is this poster originally released to advertise a retrospective exhibition of artwork by Yoko Ono which opened at the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, New York beginning from October 9 (John Lennon’s 31st Birthday) through October 27th, 1971. The poster bears the title of the exhibit, “This Is Not Here,” taken from a sign that the couple had placed outside their Tittenhurst Park home in Ascot, England. The exhibit featured works by Yoko Ono, John Lennon, and several of their friends. Good condition. While it still displays well, take special note that poster is dry mounted with some noticeable damage including a two-inch cut near the seal that has been touched up in black. 24 X 18, matted size 30 X 24. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
