Willard Brown was the first black player to hit a home run in the American League, but the tremendous racism he encountered in St. Louis, and his frustration at the lack of talent of his fellow Browns, drove him from the Major Leagues after just twenty-one games. The 2006 Hall of Fame inductee and Negro League legend presents an enormous challenge to those many collectors checking inductees off a list, but one lucky winning bidder will be able to do just that thanks to this signed baseball. Signed in blue ink. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
