Presented is a Walter Payton team-issued, possibly game worn mid-1980s Chicago Bears road jersey. The full mesh jersey is tagged by the manufacturer Wilson, Size 42 on the lower left front tail. Payton’s number “34” is screen printed on the front and back and on either sleeve along with stripes in black and orange. The left sleeve also bears the screen printed “GSH” memorial letters in honor of George S. Halas, founder and owner of the Bears who passed away in 1983. The back of the jersey bears a sewn on nameplate with the screen printed name “PAYTON” in black and orange as well.
Condition: While we are not specifying game use the jersey does show light wear and a small repair being made. Very good condition.
