Walter A Schaeffer II signed and inscribed his 1957 portrait photograph (8 X 10) that is accompanied by his signed letter dated March 15, 1957 typed on his stationery as President of the W.A. Schaeffer Pen Co.. Schaeffer pen was originally founded in 1913 by his father who developed the first commercially successful lever-filled fountain pen.
This lot is also accompanied by a signed typewritten letter from Carmel Snow, Editor of Harper’s Bazaar dated December 2, 1937.
