Walt Disney Original Limited Edition Hand-Painted Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Recreation Character Cel for 1937 Animated Feature Film. An incredible Walt Disney original, limited edition hand-painted character cel made for Disney's 1937 animation feature film, that is part of a select 500 rare sets that were recreated by official Disney artists - using all the identical materials that would have been in the originals. Only 500 of these special cel sets were created, and this one is #283 (as you can see painted on the cel in the bottom left corner.
The character cel here features Snow White and her forest friends outside the dwarfs house in the woods.
Dimensions: The cel artwork itself measures approximately 10 in x 30.5". It has been beautifully matted and framed to measure 19 in x 40 in.
Condition: Very Good.
Authentication: Official Walt Disney Company Certificate of Authenticity and the original Disney Store tag. There is also a small square attached on the back stating that the glazing on the picture is Plexiglass, giving directions on care, from Walt Disney Animation Art Studio.
