Signed photograph (on matte) and letter from W.T. Grant founder of W. T.Grant (Grants) mass-merchandise store chain (1906-1976). At the time of Grant’s death (1972) at the age of 96, Grant’s had almost 1200 stores. At the time of its bankruptcy in 1976, it represented the second biggest bankruptcy in US history.
Dimensions: Matted photograph 6.375 in X 9.375 in. Letter 8.5 in X 11 in.
