A 1997 Fender Limited Edition American Vintage '52 Reissue Telecaster electric guitar, that was played by U2's guitarist The Edge during the iconic Apple music video advertisement. U2’s classic song "Vertigo" was launched in a television commercial for the U2 Special Edition iPod at the time of Apple’s 2004 press conference. The music video advertisement features members of the band in near silhouette performing their song with dancers in full silhouette.
Provenance: Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Vintage & Rare Guitars, London, in which they state that the guitar was rented out by the shop to be used by The Edge on the 2004 Apple iPod "Vertigo" commercial.
Condition: The guitar was in mint condition when it was given to The Edge, but when it was returned, it had been heavily scratched by The Edge. Photo-matched, images from video are shown here.

Authenticity: Letter of Provenance from Vintage & Rare Guitars, London, a sales receipt of when the guitar was sold in 2005. a photo of The Edge in the music video and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
