On September 16th, 1995, Tupac Shakur needed money to bail himself out of jail. Suge Knight came with the infamous “Death Row Records” Napkin Contract, which was a 3 album 3.5 million contract. However, Interscope records owned Death Row Records, so to make things official, on October 4th, 1995, Tupac signed this formal contract with Interscope, sealing the deal to work with Death Row Records. What makes the contract even more special is Interscope records deems this to be “Tupac’s Bail Agreement” and detail how when signed, they will release Tupac out of prison. On October 12th, 1995, eight days after this contract was signed, Tupac was released from prison. This is the most historic contract to ever come up for sale, and could be the only opportunity to own this item. This contract started Tupac’s legacy with Death Row Records, which unfortunately, ended in tragedy. Measures 8.5 x 11. Very good condition. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
