Tupac Shakur handwritten letter addressed to an underground rapper at the time. Tupac was having correspondence with a rapper about meeting up and collaborating. Tupac writes, “What up kid! Maintaining on my side! I just got hit with 1.5-4.5 bid if you ain’t heard by now. I’m clear on Friday so make it happen and I’ll be there. Thanx 4 the present you sent my way. It is much appreciated. Anything to make the time go by quicker. It is good to hear you have plans for the future. If I can help you on any of that, I will. In case they move me, here is a way to find me in the world. 805-257-0444 that’s my manager’s #. My booking # is 700-94-00110 Tupac Shakur. PS Get back at me when you can”. What makes this letter so special is it was written right before Tupac went to prison, with him mentioning “Just got hit with a 1.5-4.5 bid”. Also, a nice touch adding some personal information, including his phone number. Letter exhibits some minor fading. Measures 8 x 6. Fine condition, with creases throughout.
