Tupac Shakur Handwritten "Life's So Hard (OG)" Lyrics.

The late Tupac Shakur was easily one of the most charismatic and multi-talented artists to emerge during the 1990s. Shakur, who first rose to fame as a member of Digital Underground, embarked on a solo career in 1991 that helped redefine and shape the world of hip hop for generations. A lyrical virtuoso, Tupac’s blend of bold, urban imagery coupled with a raw vulnerability appealed to both hip hop and mainstream American fans. Tupac starred in several films, including his breakout performances in “Juice” and “Poetic Justice,” which solidified the rapper as a bona fide movie star. Tupac, who appeared alongside James Belushi in the crime film “Gang Related,” released posthumously after his death, contributed the song “Life’s So Hard” to the film’s soundtrack.

The song's original title was "Hard on a Nigga" and consisted of three verses sampled from Led Zeppelin's "Ten Years Gone." Tupac wrote the song in 1994 and recorded it with Suge Knight before he signed with Deathrow Records.

Offered here are the handwritten lyrics to “Life’s So Hard,” written by Tupac on a piece of 8 x 11-inch loose-leaf paper. Pac’s explosive, explicit, and descriptive imagery come to life in clear black ink and give a glimpse into the process of one of rap’s most heralded MCs. The lyric sheet features elements of edging and cornering and a pronounced crease on the bottom-right corner

Good condition.
