This is Tupac Shakur’s handwritten list of dreams of what he wanted in life that he wrote when he was incarcerated at the Clinton Correctional Facility, in northern New York State, in 1995.
Handwritten in red ballpoint pen on a folded paper towel, Tupac's wish list is as follows: 1) happy home, 2) good career, 3) kids, 4)married someone (with a little heart), 5) everyone come around not fan -->family, etc., 6) Health (with an upward arrow - perhaps thinking it belongs higher on the list! A deceivingly simple list, this is an incredibly intimate look into the thoughts and feelings of one of the most iconic rap artists and poets of our time.
This handwritten list on a folded paper towel came from the personal collection of a woman named Simi with whom he had extensive correspondence with, including love letters and photographs, while he was incarcerated.
