American actor Tom Mix signed this headshot of himself using a black fountain pen. Mix was an early film star — namely in Western films — and appeared in 291 films from 1909 to 1935. Very Good condition. Matted to measure 8.5” x 11”. This lot comes from the extensive personal collection of a life-long collector of Historical, Entertainment and Sports artifacts and memorabilia. The collector has amassed a virtually unmatched collection that is one of the largest we have ever seen. This lot comes with a letter from Gotta Have Rock and Roll.com stating that it was sold in the Gotta Have History Winter Auction, February 16-25, 2022.
