A January 1792 financial document pertaining to the US Department of State signed by Thomas Jefferson, who served as the first U.S. Secretary of State under President George Washington. Jefferson wrote the first draft of the Declaration of Independence, the founding document of the United States adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776 with signing by Jefferson and the other delegates who became to be known as the Founding Fathers in declaring the thirteen colonies independent of Great Britain. Jefferson was elected the 3rd President of the United States (1801-1809).
Dimensions: Two 8 X 10 document pages including the document signed by Jefferson are framed on either side of an 8 X 10 picture of Jefferson. Framed to measure a total of 31 X 19.
Condition: Very good condition with some light scratches on the frame.
Authenticity: James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
