There exists no other single document that has been signed by so many iconic music artists across so many different genres of music, Blues, Jazz, Pop, Rock, R&B, folk, Country, hip-hop, Rap… None.
It was the result of the working relationship between our consignor, Maxim Langstaff and the more than 80 artists and producers he worked with for the 2016 Grammy and Emmy nominated documentary film called Soundbreaking (Originally titled The Soundtrack of our Lives) Produced for PBS, it includes a DVD series and companion book.
The customized, one-of-a-kind, poster was the brainchild of Maxim. He created three posters and asked each artist with whom he worked with to sign them. It was only possible because of the personal and professional working relationships Maxim had with these artists. He was present when each signed their name to these two posters.

The creator, writer, and executive producer for both the award winning PBSSeries and companion book Soundbreaking (On Record: the Soundtrack of Our Lives), it is one of the largest multi- media documentary film and book projects ever undertaken. Among his many credits, he produced the multi- media Making of Sergeant Pepper with legendary producer Sir George Martin, including Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, and Phil Collins. As well, he wrote, produced, and directed the most comprehensive filmed history of the Beatles through the eyes of the one man who signed them, produced their work, and played on their recordings.
His award winning work extends to “Best Film” at the International Wildlife Film festival for Wildlife Crisis, and the “Parents Choice Award” for The Jackfish, a collection of traditional folk songs recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
