Mick Jagger writes, “Dear Al, Thanks for your letter and album cover. Looks good, though on this one I would have preferred the back pie on the front and a little more information inside on what’s playing what – when recorded and other bullshit. Still it looks pretty good the way it is. Give my thanks to everyone at your office in London etc…. etc… for helping to make the record a success. Hope the hits album gets away well. Hope you like the new album when you get it. Thoughts to you all. Mick”.

On the back of the letter, Jagger requests for Al to buy him some records, “Could you please send me some albums 1. After the rain – Muddy Waters Cadet LPS-320 2.
