A Rolling Stones 1972 American Tour poster designed by John Pasche, showing an airplane with the Stones' tongue logo to the tail, flying through the clouds towards skyscrapers on the horizon. This Tour also known as the “Stones Touring Party” took place largely in promotion of their latest album, the landmark “Exile on Main St.”
British graphic designer and art director John Pasche was commissioned to create this iconic poster after having created the design for the Stones 1970 European Tour poster and in turn creating the iconic Stones tongue and lip logo.
