The Notorious B.I.G. Incredible Unreleased Original Contact Sheet From Iconic “King of New York” Photoshoot - Signed by the Photographer with Notations by Biggie.

Offered here is an incredible piece of Hip-Hop history, an original contact sheet from Biggie Smalls iconic “King of New York” photoshoot in 1997. The photoshoot was done by photographer Barron Claiborne. The story of how the iconic photoshoot came to be was that Claiborne was hired by “Rap Pages” magazine to shoot Biggie Smalls for the cover of the magazine. The concept was to portray Biggie as “The King of New York”. During the photoshoot, Barron brought two different types of crowns. Due to Biggie's big head, one crown was not usable, leaving the other one as the only other option. Apparently, Puff Daddy didn’t like the photoshoot, claiming that Biggie would look like “The Burger King”. He was wrong, as this iconic photoshoot proclaimed Biggie as the “King of New York”. Unfortunately, Biggie was killed just three days later.

This incredible contact sheet is signed twice by Barron Claiborne, and has two circles for the best photographs, done by Biggie himself.

An incredible piece of rap history.
