This super rare poster promotes the August '67 concert featuring The Doors, Nazz and The Watts 103rd St. Rhythm Band at the newly opened Cheetah Club in the Venice Beach section of Santa Monica. It ranks as one of the earliest known posters promoting the Nazz before band leader Vincent Furnier changed their name (and his) to Alice Cooper upon learning of Todd Rundgren's band of the same name. The 17" x 22.5" paper poster exhibits a somewhat ragged and discolored right-hand border, several moderate horizontal creases and a tear through the top of "D" and "O" in DOORS. Estimate $1,500-$2,500.
