The Beatles Ultra Rare Set of Autographs From “Mad Day Out” 7/28/1968 with Photo Matching that Appeared in The Beatles “Greatest Hits” Compilation Albums.
These signatures offered here are found on two separate items, the first being a manila colored piece of paper on which Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr have all autographed very nicely in a red ballpoint pen.
These signatures were obtained on July 28, 1968, which is known as The Beatles “Mad Day Out”. It was on this day that the band was photographed in various locations throughout London. These autographs were obtained by a woman who was actually in one of the photographs with The Beatles – Taken in St. Pancras Old Church and Gardens – And in fact this photograph appears in the gatefold of both of the 1962-1966 and 1967-1970 Greatest Hits compilation albums. In the photograph you can actually see this piece of paper that she had signed!
The second item, signed by John Lennon, is a cut of clip of stationary with 2 red roses. This autograph, which is in black ballpoint, was obtained on August 28th, 1968, at EMI Studios in London after a late night overdub session for “Dear Prudence.”
Good condition.
