The Beatles Signed 1963 Concert Program.

A sixteen-page concert program signed by the entire bill on Sunday, May 19, 1963, Gaumont Cinema, Hanley, England. Accompanied by a letter from the theater manager’s sister who sold programs at the show. Signed beautifully by The Beatles: Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr; Roy Orbison; Gerry and the Pacemakers: Gerry Marsden and Les Maguire; Louise Cordet; David Macbeth; Ian Crawford; Erkey Grant; Barry Daniel (drums, Terry Young Six); and Tony Marsh (compere).

The wonderful two-page written account by a teenage girl who obtained the autographs explains that her brother was the assistant manager and hired her to sell programs at the theater. She watched the show from the wings and witnessed girls who had climbed a fire escape to the roof and opened a skylight to see the show. She describes in detail the attempts at crowd control and the performances of The Beatles and Roy Orbison, “the most exciting (and terrifying) night of my life.”

The Beatles’ repertoire on this tour was "Some Other Guy," "Do You Want to Know A Secret," "Love Me Do," "From Me To You," "Please Please Me," "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Twist And Shout." Roy Orbison is a legendary musician and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member with hits such as “Oh Pretty Woman” and “Only the Lonely.” Roy would later join George Harrison in The Traveling Wilburys. Gerry and the Pacemakers had many hits including "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying."

A very rare opportunity to acquire a program signed on the second night of the tour by all the artists. There are extremely few Beatles programs signed by the entire bill.

It measures approximately 10.25 x 7.875 inches.
