The Beatles Ringo Starr “Hey Jude” Recording Used Tambourine (Jo Jo Johns Collection)

Offered here is an incredible tambourine which was used by Ringo Starr during the iconic recording of “Hey Jude”.

Provenance: From the collection of Jo Jo Johns. Jo Jo Johns, was a personal assistant to the Beatles who worked at the group's offices at 3 Savile Row in central London from 1968 to 1975. Johns was also a friend of Lennon who helped the latter clear his house when he and Yoko Ono moved to New York in August 1971.

He received this tambourine directly from the Beatles during his tenure working with them.

Good condition.
