This lot is of the rarest Beatles items in existence. The lot contains Sir Paul McCartneys earliest signature to ever surface, dated 1955-56 from his school days at the Liverpool institute High School. As stated in the accompanied letter of provenance from renowned Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, Paul has signed in his full original initials J.P. McCartney (James Paul) on a slip of lined paper, which has been torn from the lower right-hand corner of a full sheet containing additional writing by him. Paul would have been 13 or 14 years old at the time of this signature and just a year before he and John Lennon first met, making it the earliest known Paul McCartney signature. Also included in the lot is Paul's high school yearbook from 1953 which contains his name clearly in print, his form number, his school house number and date of birth. Alongside this is the incredible and historical school neck tie and school uniform badge. Also attached is an image of a school Photo of Paul wearing his school tie at around the same year. With Paul turning 80 just this year, this makes these items over 65 years old. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Frank Caiazzo and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
