The Beatles John Lennon Owned Conrad Baritone Guitar - Attributed To George Harrison (Jo Jo Johns Collection).

Offered here is an extremely special piece of Beatles history. This Conrad Baritone Electric guitar was purchased in Chicago by John Lennon during The Beatles 1965/66 US tour.

The guitar is also attributed to being used by George Harrison.

Provenance: From the Anthony Goddard collection, this piece originates from The Beatles personal assistant Jo Jo Johns. Working out of The Beatles Saville Row office, it's well noted that Jo Jo was the person entrusted to clear John Lennon's home ‘Tittenhurst Park' When John made his move across to the USA. Jo Jo was also the person to acquire John Lennon's famous Steinway piano which he famously composed for his timeless anthem ‘Imagine' which would also later sell at auction for £1.6 Million. Alongside other items, The Piano was offered to Jo Jo's longtime friend Anthony Goddard for a mere £750 back then, however, Anthony was unable to arrange collection of such a large item within the deadline of a couple of days, in his words ‘My biggest regret to this day'. But not all was lost in that transaction as Anthony did acquire several other smaller items including some truly legendary pieces, notably tambourines, small string instruments and this Baritone Guitar. The guitar is an amazing piece of Beatles used memorabilia and having been used by both John and George makes this an incredible Beatles treasure.

An amazing opportunity to acquire one of the remaining artifacts of Beatles History.

Fair condition.

Authentication: Letter of Provenance and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
