A fan club photograph that was signed during the first Ed Sullivan performance on February 9th, 1964.
The show was watched by over 70 million people and created the “Beatlemania” phenomenon in America.
This particular fan club photograph was signed by John Lennon in vintage ballpoint pen with George Harrison adding the inscription on the top of the card, “To Mike From the Beatles”.
The signatures of Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr were done by the manager, all in blue pen.
The John Lennon signature has "John" written by John Lennon with the "Lennon" written by someone else.
The significance of this piece is being signed during the most important date of the Beatles career.
