The Allman Brothers Signed Kalamazoo Guitar Played by Greg Allman and Dickey Betts.
Signed by Gregg Allman, Jaimoe, Dickey Betts, Butch Trucks, Warren Haynes, Marc Quinones and one other band member in a silver sharpie.
The consignor had worked extensively with the band in the past. He attended a concert and was invited backstage where this guitar was signed. He hung out for over 30 minutes, to which Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts played the guitar. They both liked the guitar and had fun with it.
Provenance: From the collection of a former Music Executive. Lots 76 to 100 and Lots 499 to 803 in this auction are consigned by one vendor, who worked with and met various artists from 1985-1992. All the items were personally obtained by the vendor. This is the best in-person collection we have ever handled as an auction company.
