This is a rare style sideline jacket from the Oilers NFL football franchise from one of their two seasons playing in Nashville/ Memphis as the Tennessee Oilers (1997,1998) before permanently becoming the Tennessee Titans once their new stadium opened in Nashville in 1999 (now known as Nissan Stadium). The Oilers originally began play as a charter member of the AFL in 1960 as the Houston Oilers (1960-1996). The pullover jacket is tagged in the collar Size “XL” with the “Pro Line Starter” manufacturers tag which bears the initials “JF” printed in black marker (possibly referring to the Oilers Coach, Jeff Fisher as the only member with those initials). The jacket bears the embroidered Tennessee Oilers logo near the upper left shoulder and the NFL crest logo embroidered on the back collar. A Starter brand zipper bull operates the 10” zipper at the neckline and there is an 8” zipper on the bottom left to provide access and ease of wear. The jacket provides a vent pocket on either side and trimmed with a knit collar, waist and cuffs.

Condition: Good condition with a few small light noticeable stains.

Authentication: Comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
