This Elvis Presley signed contract comes directly from the personal collection of his sound engineer and long time friend, the legendary Bill Porter. Elvis Presley has signed this typewritten contract on "The Elvis Presley Show" letterhead in black ink. The agreement letter, dated August 28, 1974, is for the services of Bill Porter during the dates September 27th through October 9th for the "Elvis Presley Show Tour". Porter has also signed in black ink. Porter is renowned for engineering nearly all of Elvis’ post 1960 hits until his death in 1977. Recording with Elvis in the celebrated “Studio B” in Nashville, Porter helped to craft some of Elvis’ greatest hits including, “Are You Lonesome Tonight” and “It’s Now or Never". Porter’s album recordings with Elvis include “Elvis Is Back”, “His Hand In Mine,” “Pot Luck”, and “Something for Everybody”. Bill went on the road with Elvis from 1969 to 1977 and recorded many of Elvis’ “Live In Las Vegas” shows. Measures 8.5" x 11". Excellent condition. Comes with a letter from Bill Porter's family.
