Vaughan has additionally signed and inscribed the lyrics to his 1984 Australian tour manager Marc Wilkinson under the handwritten lyrics, in blue ink, writing: “Mark, Jennifer, Marty/Sour to Sour/Keep the Faith/Stevie Ray Vaughan.”
These lyrics were bestowed to Wilkinson during Vaughn’s debut Australian tour
The final version of the song appeared on Live at Montreux 1982-1985 (Epic, 2001) and “Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues" (Sony, 2003) contains revised lyrics with some additional and deleted material. “Ain't Gone ‘N’ Give Up On Love” was featured in Stevie Ray Vaughan’s hit album “Soul to Soul.'' Considered to be one of Vaughan’s best songs on the album, this piece would be a centerpiece of anyone’s Stevie Ray Vaughan collection.
