Guitar great Steve Vai owned and studio used custom SV 81 - Hamer Pre-Jem prototype pearl white electric guitar with monkey grip, serial number 616753. This awesome guitar comes with a letter directly from the guitar wizard himself and includes his original travel case for the guitar. In addition to having a highly successful solo career, Vai has recorded and tour with Alcatraz, David Lee Roth, and Whitesnake, Public Image Ltd, Mary J. Blige, Spinal Tap, Alice Cooper (he played with Alice Cooper from 1980 - 1983), Motörhead, and Polyphia. Very good condition. Comes with the letter from Steve Vai, a photo of Vai with the guitar in the studio, and the original hard guitar case. Also comes with a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
