Londoner Sir George Martin was an English record producer, arranger, composer, conductor, and musician. He was commonly referred to as the "Fifth Beatle" because of his extensive involvement in each of the Beatles' original albums.
Offered here is a signed typewritten letter from George dated “20th November 2001” in response to a request for charitable items for an upcoming auction. It appears on “Airborn Productions Limited” stationary. He humbly responds to the request: “I have to tell you that over the years I have given away all my memorabilia to auction for charity and consequently all I can only offer you is a signed photograph which I enclose herewith.” He then signed the letter in black ink at the bottom.
