Batting in a game in 1965 Roger Maris took a swing and he heard something pop in his right hand, he was sidelined for the rest of the year. It was the beginning of the end of Maris’s all too short career. Offered is an extremely rare H&B Professional Model 125 Signature Contract 1965 Roger Maris bat with model number “K90” stamped on the knob. Maris only ordered a dozen “K90” bats of this labeling in 1965. Making this one of 12 bats sent to Maris that season. A beautiful bat showing light use, perfect markings and “MARIS” in faded marker on the knob. Comes with a Dave Bushing Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
