Robert Crumb Original Pencil Sketches with Hand-Annotation Circa 1961. Famed comic book artist and illustrator Robert Crumb, known for his distinctive style and subversive view of mainstream America, has hand-drawn these sketches on both side of a sheet of ecru paper. One side features many studies of mostly men's faces, and, for Crumb, they're relationship to various animals. On the verso, Crumb has sketched a study of a woman, resting her head on her hand and has written below it "Connie, 30 March 1961" and below that a drawing of a girl with braided pig-tails, a small boy, and a castle - appearing to be a study of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. All drawings, and the hand annotations are done in pencil.

Dimensions: 5.5 in x 8.

Condition: Very Good.
