Offered here is River Phoenix's personal cassette demo for the now released song “Heart to Get”.
"Heart to Get" was a song written and recorded by River Phoenix for the end credits of the 1986 movie “A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon”. However, 20th Century Fox cut the song from the final film. Director William Richert later included it in his director's cut of the movie.
This is the original unreleased rough mix which has been signed four times by River Phoenix in a ballpoint pen. The cassette is also filled with his handwritten annotation.
